I hope everyone had a great day at Hammond School!

Remember that your homework tonight is Section 10.2 (read, define vocab, answer section review questions).  Make sure you read this section since quarks can be sorta… well… quarky.  We’ll talk about them in class tomorrow, but try to get an understanding of what they are tonight.

Your quiz tomorrow will focus on the energy levels and the number of electrons in each (2-8-18-32).  I’ll give you an atom… say Sulfur (atomic number of 16) and ask you to draw me a picture of the atom based on its atomic number and your understanding of the energy levels.
