
When we return from Winter Break next Tuesday, we will begin our machines. This is my favorite part of the year because I get to see you put all of your creativity and knowledge into the construction of these.
You have to apply what you learn about levers, pulleys, wedges, inclined planes, wheel/axles and screws while also using parts of your brain that you might not ordinarily use during school.
Over the weekend, I’ll be posting the entire schedule for the next few weeks so that you can see how the construction will go for our machines. At the end, you’ll hopefully have learned something about how machines help us, how to better work together and perhaps even a little about yourself!
