The Move to Asheville (Part 2) and Much More

What a week!

-Finished exams, graded exams, turned in grades (Tuesday through Friday).

-Packed up the contents of the house and moved everything to Asheville thanks to Dad, Avant and Andy. We could not have gotten everything here without Dad and Avant and we certainly couldn't have gotten everything off the truck last Wednesday without Andy! (Tuesday through Friday). We're still unpacking.

-Got a new job! (Wednesday … more later on that).

-Went to Pennsylvania for Alex's (Anna's Brother) graduation from the prestigious Hill School (Friday through Sunday).

-Flew back to Charlotte, picked up Sylvia and brought her to Asheville (Sunday).

-Spent time with Mom and Dad who were babysitting Schaefer and fixing things around the house. They did an incredible job on so many things including the yard (Sunday).

-Donnie came to visit and help with move-in operations (Sunday through present).

Whew!

The house is full of our stuff, and we are beginning to recover some notion of familiarity. Most importantly (for me) at the moment, we've done a wonderful job on my office and have it pretty much set up for operation. I'm beginning my venture back into the online advertising industry on June 1 with a company called Rex Direct as an Affiliate Manager for their clients and advertisers. I'll be helping to manage a network they run which allows companies and people who own websites to find appropriate advertising and keep stats and a performance index on how those ads do on their site. I'm excited about the opportunity!

I'm headed back to Columbia today for a lawnmower and my things from school. One last trip down 1-26!

Send pictures of flowers. Tell the baby that granny can hardly walk with painting and kicking that ball every morning.
