Maybe it’s because I had to get up at 3:00 AM this morning to get to the school to prepare for this week’s 8th Grade field trip to D.C., but this made me cry in the style of my 3 month old baby:

Monday’s letters: Our family at SDS | GoUpstate.com: “Recently at school we celebrated Anthony’s 11th birthday. The nurturing and love at SDS overwhelms my husband and me sometimes. Anyone who thinks SDS is a school for wealthy white kids is misinformed. My family is evidence of that.”

We are family indeed.
