Who knew I had so much in common with Friedman?

I often wonder what type of internet/www my daughters will get to experience. I’m not all that optimistic these days:
Wider Web Wiretap Law Is Sought – NYTimes.com: “Robert S. Mueller III, the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, traveled to Silicon Valley on Tuesday to meet with top executives of several technology firms about a proposal to make it easier to wiretap Internet users. “
And go listen to this week’s Security Now (276) starting at minute 26.
I love posts like this (especially about the Beatles)…
kung fu grippe: “Yep. Slowhand and Macca make this song sound dangerous. So good.”
Head over and listen to the tracks Merlin has posted of Paul’s bass lines and Clapton’s solos.
I’ve honestly never been a huge fan of the song or how it breaks the tempo of the White Album, but hearing the bass line changes all that for me.
Fun Saturday reading…
Torx are ok, but intentions say otherwise…
As Long As It’s Black: iPhone 4 Now Shipping With Anti-Tampering Torx Screws :: App Advice: “Nevertheless, these new screws definitely don’t look as inviting as the old Phillips ones used up until now. This will certainly turn off some amateurs.”
Better than any movie I’ve seen this year…
Couldn’t agree more with the tenor or message of this…
Science teacher: Adam Smith and me: “So why do I teach science?”
I need to dust off my old copies of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and make sure they are on display in my (self-imposed-minimalist) classroom.
That’s my little omnivore.
I wonder how much bandwidth they push/pull every month?
