Gaithersburg school says no homework — just free reading – The Washington Post: “The behavior of homework is more important than the content of homework,” he said.”

I don’t think so.

I hope not, anyway. I haven’t seen much research or actual in-class evidence to support such a gross claim. So, I’ll keep doing what I do (which is not assigning homework but instead helping students realize what they need to work on themselves).

Do not take a look at the comments if you actually work in education in 2011, btw.
