It takes time.

Having a website does not mean that riches or mediocre revenue or even a few pennies will come your way in the short or long term.

Instead, affiliate marketing is a business that must be built over time and requires considerable and focused dedication.

In other words, you must do what you love if you want to be a good affiliate. Ask any of the Affiliate Legends and they’ll tell you the same. Money is great, but in the affiliate game money follows from passion.

Having your name in the phone book doesn’t mean people will call you or know that you’re alive, and having your website up doesn’t mean people will buy/click through you or know that you’re there.

So, follow your passion(s). It will take time, but it will be worth your time, trouble and investment if you keep the fire alive.
