Sixth Grader Becomes The Toast Of The Tech World — AppAdvice: “Although he isn’t old enough to have a Facebook account, Thomas Suarez is fast becoming one of the new faces of tech. Already the sixth grader has formed his own company and released two iOS apps.”

I’m impressed by my 7th and 8th graders who are increasingly becoming more savvy not just about apps but also about actually what goes on behind-the-scenes to make them.

That’s why I’m running an “Apps Building” Exploratory now at Carolina Day and have high hopes to expand it out and actually start publishing apps based on student work.
