Sorta like social sharing killing traditional links:

Tech Firm Implements Employee ‘Zero Email’ Policy – ABC News: “You’ve got mail–not. Employees of tech company Atos will be banned from sending emails under the company’s new “zero email” policy.”

I’ve always thought a twitter-as-protocol movement would replace email after I started using Twitter in 2006. It hasn’t happened yet, but it will.

The question for performance marketers is what to do with the vacuum that will be created as email continues its (slow) decline?
