Going to be a little personal here…

First, I love NASCAR.

Scoff all you want, but in reality the sport has so much to do with affiliate marketing that it’s not even funny so many of you don’t follow the sport or its marketing scene (except Vinny and Loxly) (no, Todd, F1 doesn’t count).

Second, I hate white text on a black background.

Great content but I can’t read it without Instapaper or Safari Reader, both of which strip out any ads etc.

So, make sure your design is legible, friendly and not seizure-inducing. Fight the urge to ever put light colored text on a dark background (unless you’re John Gruber).

Now go watch a race.
