Ah, chicken bog.   Anna suggested I call this post "Chicken Blog." What is chicken bog, you ask? I'm not sure of the origin, but every decent farming family in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina has their own chicken bog recipe, most of which date back to the 1800's and barn culture.
